Fellowship
Dinner Groups meet monthly at a restaurant or home of their choosing for conversation and good food. The couples’ dinner groups are reorganized each year in the fall so new connections can be made. There are other Dinner Groups like the Parents Dinner Group that stay intact from year to year, just adding folks along the way. Wherever you fit in, you’re sure to make new friends and form lasting relationships.
Martha Circle is our longest standing women’s group at First Bethel. With a rich history of service and fellowship, these ladies meet monthly on the second Wednesday of the month at 1PM in the Susanna Wesley Room. Their projects include preparing food for church fellowship dinners and making crafts and gifts for our shut-ins. Their efforts support local charities, regional mission trips like ASP, and global outreach like The Nyadire Connection. Prayer Partners are an example of the lifelong bonds that are formed within and beyond the walls of this ministry.
The Men’s Group meets informally for coffee and conversation at the Eat ‘n Park near South Park Shops on Wednesday mornings around 9AM. The men host various fundraising events like concerts and garage sales that benefit Outreach ministries, or other needs. Join them if you want to meet some great guys and you want to get more involved in the many areas of service and ministry that they are a vital part of. There is a short planning meeting on the first Saturday of each month at 8:30AM at the church, and there is an annual Men’s Retreat in the fall. Call the church office for more information.
