Meal Train

“For He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.”  Psalm 107:9

“What is a Meal Train?” How is this important ministry woven into the fabric that makes up First Bethel? Just like a freight or passenger train, food links us together. Everyone must eat to sustain life.  A home-cooked meal delivered to a Church Member can satisfy and sustain during a either a challenging time or a celebratory time in life.

“Never in my wildest dreams did I think my family would be the recipients of a Meal Train. Our Church sustained my family for an entire month with delicious tacos, pot roast, chicken, soup, and lasagna. We welcomed each meal with gratitude and relief. It was one less stress on our family to know we were fed and nourished.”

Need a Meal Train?  Just notify Catherine or the Church Office and provide an email address or a phone number.  A Meal Train schedule is created with requested days and times and any food preferences.  Folks sign up for a day and time that is convenient, prepare the meal, and deliver it.  Everyone is blessed.

Have a new baby? Meal Train. Loved one in the hospital? Meal Train. Recovering from surgery, illness, a bad fall? Meal Train. Kitchen being gutted and you have no stove or microwave? Why not! Meal Train.

Together we can nourish the mind, body, and soul.
